Frequently Asked Questions

When is the International Day of the Chocolate Cookie?
The official date is on June 22th, 2006. However, it's up to you to make your own day of the chocolate cookie whenever you want.

Why the chocolate cookie and not another sort of biscuit?
At the very beginning, the International Day of the Chocolate Cookie was celebrated with chocolate-cream-filled-sandwich-biscuit, which are very popular in France. These biscuits are cheap enough so that you can afford a whole pack for very little money.
There are, of course, much cheaper biscuits, but these chocolate-cream-filled-sandwich-biscuits have a chocolate filling, which make them unusual. Sadly, these chocolate-cream-filled-sandwich-biscuits cannot be found in every country.
Sometimes they are quite expensive, so we decided to enlarge the concept to chocolate cookies in general, so that everyone can find something for a little amount of money.
